The 100% Pinot Noir Château de Sancerre® Red is vinified, matured and bottled at the Château. The grapes are harvested by hand in 5 hectares of vineyards whose soils are composed of clayey limestone, “caillottes” (chalky stones) and clayey silt. Half of the vintage is matured in oak barrels while the other half matures in tanks for one year. The two wines are blended in September and bottled in November. Lively and fresh, this is a typical red wine from the Loire Valley expressing the House of Grand Marnier®'s know-how in winemaking.
